Survey: Accelerated MBA for Tourism and Hospitality

Mount Saint Vincent University (MSVU) is asking for your valuable input by way of a survey questionnaire regarding the need for an accelerated MBA program in Canada.

As a higher education institution and wanting to be part of the solution relating to the HR crisis in the tourism & hospitality industry, MSVU is developing a specialized MBA Tourism & Hospitality Program tailored for industry professionals looking to enter middle and upper management as well as employees in supervisory roles looking to fast track their careers.

The need for advanced education and upskilling at the management level in our industry is pressing. In response, MSVU is looking at offering an accelerated MBA program, specifically designed for tourism & hospitality management professionals.

There is currently only one MBA 2-year hybrid tourism & hospitality program in Canada (University of Guelph) as all other programs offered are (2 years) on campus at the Master’s level. There is an absence of an online program within a shorter timeframe, that allows full-time professionals currently working in the sector to earn their MBA, which is the gap MSVU aims to fill.

MSVU is also considering a shorter Executive Leadership Diploma Program and it will be designed as both a stand-alone credential as well as a pathway to earning the full MBA with a structure that allows for credit transfers. There is currently no Executive Leadership Diploma Program for tourism & hospitality offered on campus or online in Canada.

Thank you for taking time out of your busy day to complete this short survey. Please note it is an anonymous survey and It comprises 21 questions that should only take you 10 minutes to complete.

Deadline for completion is December 20, 2023.
