Call for Nominations: Tourism HR Canada Board of Directors

Tourism HR Canada has three open seats to replace Directors that have completed their full term. Election of the new Directors will take place at the next Annual General Meeting of the organization, on January 30, 2023.

The Nominations Committee, led by Joe Baker, Board Director, is seeking nominations to fill three seats, one for each of:

  1. Provincial or regional tourism sector or related association.
  2. Tourism educator, researcher, or educational institution.
  3. Provincial, regional, pan-Canadian or international business or related organization with an emphasis on tourism or tourism related services (i.e., at Large).

In accordance with the by-laws, “the nomination process will be open and subject to application, which will be reviewed by the Nomination Committee for appropriateness against the criteria as set out in these by-laws and the Board Competency Profile, and then put forward to the Members for the election at the Annual General Meeting”. Membership is limited to persons interested in furthering the aims of Tourism HR Canada and whose application for admission as a Member is approved by the President.

Deadline for submission of nominations form: January 13, 2023.
