Tourism HR Canada is recruiting new board members for the upcoming term, which starts in December 2026.

Call for Nominations Announced

Deadline to Submit Applications

October 1, 2026, 5:00 P.M. Eastern Time

With recent updates to the Tourism HR Canada by-laws, nominations are currently open for up to five Directors. Board positions are open for the following categories:
Provincial/territorial or regional tourism sector (or related) association
Educator, researcher, or educational institution
Worker representative/association or organized labour body
Other (‘at large’), e.g., provincial/territorial, regional, pan-Canadian, or international business (or related) organization, or special interest group

The Tourism HR Canada Board of Directors provides independent governance by setting strategic leadership, overseeing organizational performance and financial stewardship, ensuring legal and ethical compliance, and acting in the best interests of the organization and its mission.

Board members are expected to serve a three-year term, attend board meetings, and actively participate in at least one committee.
