What We Do
Tourism HR Canada is a pan-Canadian organization with a mandate aimed at growing a world-leading tourism workforce. Tourism HR Canada facilitates, coordinates, and enables workforce development activities that support a globally competitive and sustainable tourism sector and foster a dynamic and resilient labour market.

A national workforce council with over 30 years of delivering impactful results, Tourism HR Canada collaborates with businesses, educational institutions, industry associations, organized labour, policy makers, equity-deserving groups, and others, with a focus on achieving timely, specific, measurable, and sustainable labour market solutions.
Skills, productivity, job design
- Identify required skills, conduct research

2023-2024
This year’s report covers the multitude of activities Tourism HR Canada undertook to support the success of the tourism workforce as it moved further from the impacts of the pandemic.
Tourism HR Canada provided frequent, timely insights into the labour market, developed programs and tools to advance the sector’s growth, and showcased the breadth and depth of employment opportunities in tourism, right across the country.
The organization collaborated with industry associations, governments, and others to ensure we all succeed in our shared goal of a resilient and prosperous Canadian tourism sector.
