Les cours s\u2019appuient sur les normes professionnelles nationales canadiennes et l\u2019obtention des certificats en ligne r\u00e9pond aux exigences des employeurs du secteur du tourisme dans tout le pays. Cet effort novateur aidera l\u2019industrie \u00e0 g\u00e9rer et \u00e0 retenir les talents, \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer les comp\u00e9tences de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre et \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper la r\u00e9silience en vue d\u2019une \u00e9ventuelle reprise des activit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u00ab Notre partenariat avec le Centennial College pour offrir rapidement des programmes de formation reconnus par l\u2019industrie refl\u00e8te l\u2019importance prioritaire que nous accordons \u00e0 l\u2019investissement dans la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre de demain, \u00bb d\u00e9clare Philip Mondor, pr\u00e9sident et directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de RH Tourisme Canada. \u00ab L\u2019apprentissage en ligne contribuera \u00e0 retenir les nombreux \u00e9tudiants nationaux et internationaux talentueux et \u00e0 faire en sorte que leurs \u00e9tudes puissent se d\u00e9rouler sans trop de perturbations. \u00bb<\/p>\n\n<p>Les \u00e9tudiants qui compl\u00e8tent les cours en ligne seront admissibles \u00e0 la reconnaissance des acquis pour les deux programmes de la\u00a0<em>School of Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts<\/em>\u00a0accr\u00e9dit\u00e9s par RH Tourisme Canada. Le dipl\u00f4me de gestion des op\u00e9rations h\u00f4teli\u00e8res et le dipl\u00f4me d\u2019\u00e9tudes approfondies en gestion h\u00f4teli\u00e8re et touristique de l\u2019\u00e9tablissement ont tous deux re\u00e7u la d\u00e9signation SMART+, soit le plus haut niveau d\u2019accr\u00e9ditation accord\u00e9 par RH Tourisme Canada.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Le fait de se pr\u00e9parer pour l\u2019\u00e9ventuelle reprise de l\u2019industrie du tourisme apporte aux \u00e9tudiants des comp\u00e9tences essentielles et, plus important encore, un sentiment d\u2019espoir et d\u2019optimisme,\u00a0\u00bb d\u00e9clare Joe Baker, doyen de la\u00a0<em>School of Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts<\/em>\u00a0du Centennial College. \u00ab\u00a0Le Centennial Coll\u00e8ge vise la r\u00e9ussite des \u00e9tudiants en leur offrant l\u2019exp\u00e9rience et le mentorat n\u00e9cessaires pour soutenir une nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s exceptionnels.
